Time to pack!

We went to school in our new T2T tops today because it was Muffti day. I got 500THB from my friend in Year 7,  then at lunch time I got 1000 THB from my friend in Year 8 and 2000 THB from another friend of mine in Year 8. I got loads more than that today though especially from my form class, Year 8R. 

Everyone in the Team was there exept for Miss Nicholls because she was busy at the secondary building. Our t-shirts look great but when we got our shirts mine was a bit to big for me at the top so luckily Jit took it home and ajusted it to fit my size and now it fits!

When we got home we had to pack all of our stuff and I wanted to take so much that when I got round to putting it in the panier there wasn't enough space for it all so I ended up putting half of it back into my wardrobe. Anyway, at least I have what I need in the panier now.

At lunch my friends gave me a big surprise, a table covered in chocolates, 2 packs of Snickers, 2 packs of Kit Kats, 2 packs of M'n'M's, 2 packets of crisps, 2 tubes of Mentos and a box of Biscuits. I was really amazed and really happy!

I'm pretty nevous though.

Massive donation!

Yesterday we recived an enormous donation from a donor that wishes to be un-named, and has arranged for us to have a vehicle back up in Thailand. Guess how much was given.....

50,000 THB = £1,000

That's a lot of money and I am very thankfull to the donor. You are extremely generous and have a kind heart. Thank you so much.

That brings the total so far to about B180,000! And I haven't even done it yet!

 Today we got the banner, our new shirts and arm socks and they look fantastic!

 We're just two days away from the big ride to Cambodia and I am starting to feel the preasure, especially after all those stretches I did in ballet earlier. I feel so nervous and excited about the ride, now that all of my training sessions are over and I have to relax until Saturday, it's really nerve racking.

I think I'm ready.

Yippee! Last training is done! Phew! just the big one to go - 418km! Oh my goodness!

We went on Mr Crouch's route and then stopped for chicken and then rode towards a fantastic pink sunset. We did 27km with an average speed of 19.1 km/h. It is amazing to think how many times I stopped on my first 12km ride. 8 times! and it took me an hour. I think I'm ready.

Hottest ride!

Check out the ride we did yesterday. It was our last long one 39km. We went with Zorb. He is one of the teachers in Year 6 and an old friend of my Dad's. We went all the way up past Khao Mai Keow national park. This was a climb of over 160m over 11km, what made it even harder was the heat. It has been cool in the rainy season recently but today it was clear and hot. 34 degrees! Phew! Then we stopped at Bira and then we stopped for lunch at Layla's Place. I had a huge Cod and Chips! High Five!

Today we got our new Puma t-shirts and hats from Pattaya City Football Club. I would like to say thank you to Terry Wilcox, the manager, for getting us the t-shirts and hats, and thank you to Puma for printing them!

I'm still wearing mine now so don't think that we put them on just to show you them. I feel really comfortable in my shirt and love the hat because hats really are my thing!

I can't blieve it!

Today we went on one of our last rides and was the same as usual but just a bit different at the beginning because of the road works. We went down to the tunnel but turned right before we went through and then went over the bridge at the top of the hill, we cut off the up side of the hill and came out on the down side because we weren't sure if the road still had the big hole in it. We zoomed past it and saw that it was okay to cross. Mr and Mrs McConnell past us in their car whilst we were cycling and they waved at us through the car windows.

We past eleven cyclists today and they all waved at us. It was 19.3 km long and took us 1 hour 44 seconds. On Sunday we are going to do a long ride then we will do another one on Monday and that will be it for the training before we go on Saturday to Ayutthaya. I can't believe it.
